I am an accredited psychotherapist and counsellor with a specialism in sexual and relationship difficulties. I see individuals and couples aged 18 and over in private practice. I have an Advanced Diploma in Humanistic-Integrative Counselling, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in the Theory and Practice of Psychotherapy for Sexual Dysfunction. In the past I have counselled couples at an NHS Psychosexual Clinic, young people at an inner London youth agency, and male offenders at a maximum security prison. |
I work with a range of mental health problems including depression, anxiety, panic attacks, stress, bereavement and anger management. My specialist area is issues affecting couples and relationships, including sexual difficulties of all kinds. I also have particular experience of working with issues around sexuality confusion, childhood sexual abuse and domestic violence.
Outside the therapy world, I have freelanced for more than 10 years, working mainly as a writer, editor and consultant.
